Well, obviously my wife got me into this business :-) But really I have been interested in the paranormal before reading stories about a paranormal investigator in the 1990s+ - which my older brother turned me on to. Had a lot of Fantasy and some Sci-Fi in there too... great stories...

And of course, since meeting my wife, and especially since moving to the USA, I have experienced a lot personally....

There were two things that got me interested in the paranormal. The first was a blood stain that would appear and disappear in a bathroom where a guy I knew killed himself. It did not matter day or night you could go in the house and would appear. I know that it was not just showing through the paint because they replaced the drywall twice. I even heard a shotgun blast from the house when it was vacant.

Second occurrence happened in an old motel by where I grew up. It was vacant and me and my friends began to hang out there. One night while we were there, I had started to feel very odd. I had a headache and was very edgy. They were drinking and was declining because of the way I felt. I just remember sitting where I could see the bedroom in the manager's office/apartment. I just remember feeling a sudden rush of fear as I saw something darker than the bedroom appear. I don't remember what happened after that only that I was found in a utility closet forty minutes later by my friends. They said that I just stood straight up from where I was at looked in the bedroom and at them and I was gone out the door. I actually broke the door of the hinges as I went through it. They said at that moment that they felt a sudden drop in the temp. What made it even weirder was one of my friends was standing right by the utility closet and I heard him say that I must have went home and that is when I said I'm right here. I think this event was linked to two of my friends where practicing black magic and using a Ouija board in the motel. I just knew that whatever it was did not like me and did not want me in there.

Wow that is some scary stuff. Do you think you were hypnotized by something or possessed? A house I wrote about had some similar instances, due in part (according to one source) to kids doing Satantic things in the garage.

 

I think there are a lot of things in this world we can't explain, and trying to find reasons or answers makes life fun. :)

I don't think that I had been hypnotized.  We were all just hanging out talking about what we wanted to do.  It was like I was hearing a voice in my head telling me that something was wrong.  Whatever made me look in the direction of the bedroom was not the samething that was in there.  What ever was in the bedroom felt to me to had been human.  I know that I did feel something else in the utility closet that was trying to keep me in there.  My feelings bounced between feeling safe and in danger while I was in the closet.  It was almost like I was being toyed with.  It was hard for me to really know how long I was in the closet as time seemed to not exist in there.  I know that after that event I stayed clear the motel because I always get that same feeling when I went past it.  It did not matter day or night.  Not sure if it was just residual feelings in me about the experience.  I really did not push the issue to find out all that they had been doing in there when I was not around.  I also had made it clear to them that I did not want to talk about it.  All I know is that everynight up until I moved from MO to FL that I would always pray that whatever it was in that motel would stay away from me.

I know that there have been other times that I have felt the presence of something that other's haven't.  None as agressive as the experience in the motel.  I think part of the reason for this is because I have not been antogonizing them.  I feel that is the most unwise thing that they do on these Paranormal shows.  I know that it makes for good tv, but then get these fans that don't know what they are doing that end up really messing themselves up by antogonizing the spirits. I think that my experience proves this.  They may not go after the one that is antognizing them.  I just wonder how many of these people have gone to someplace asking for a spirit to show them something and took that spirit home with them.
