real ghost stories based on real research from true believers™

My younger daughter has seen this man and I had not till Wednesday night. I had to go to the bathroom, down the long dark hall, and I don't usually turn the light on, unless I "feel" something. Well, it was dark and I entered the bathroom and before I turned the bathroom light on I turned around and looked into the hall. There he was standing there by the back hall door, right across from the bathroom. I really didn't get a good look at his face, I had to go to the bathroom, and I try not to look at spirits too long when alone. When I do they tend to manifest stronger or something creepy happens.

They guy seemed sand and looking downward, dressed in a black hat and black long coat, with a small brown suitcase.

I had something similar happen to me when I was still in Chattanooga. I had a tall blond woman that would walk around my house. It was a very peaceful when she made herself known. I miss that house...
I kind of wish I could help our ghost out, since he seems sad. I have no clue if he belongs to the trailer or the land, but his had is a style that is much older, so I imagine he doesn't go with the trailer. A quarter mile down the road nearer the highway is a really old house that the people seem to be trying to fix or at least keep from falling down. The outside is rough, but they could have the inside all fixed up for all I know. I would love to see inside the house since i am sure it had to at least be build in the 1880's, but could be a few years earlier than that. There is a small graveyard a block down from the house and someone comes and takes good care of it, which is nice. There is an old chainlink fence around it and the gates are locked, but it sits maybe a block back from the road in a cornfield. I wonder if the graveyard went with the old house. It is kind of sad that what is left of the old barns are pretty much caved in, two small barns and a two story chicken shed.
Hey- were you able to use the dowsing rods with Lil to talk with him?
