The most haunted place I know of was my Grandmothers house! It was a big 2-story farmhouse, located in Milan, In. I lived with her most of my life. I know old houses have their own special sounds, but footsteps on the stairs isn't one of them, or knocking on the bedroom door! The house no longer stands, it has been replaced by a Senior Citizen housing project. The most haunted Cemetery I have been to, is Riverview Cemetery in Dearborn County. Vicky

I have had several encounters and we have spirits living in our house. My brother had a house in Northern Indiana that was so haunted. We spent the night there and the activity was endless. Everything from whistling, locked doors slamming shut, footsteps, pocket doors sliding open and closed. It was incredible! That was the most haunted place I have ever been in. I heard he sold it as a B & B but didn't reveal the haunting aspect of it. Two spinster sisters had lived there and the re-modeling seemed to stir them up. He was also told by someone that is was a "waiting" place for spirits who were caught between.

My experience was this year at Mississinewa Battlefield. My partner and myself decided to go one evening to see the grave markers and to investigate any activity. We were walking up the little path leading to the graves... my partner was walking a good bit ahead of me. We both saw a fairly large black mass that had no particular shape fly past us out of the corner out of eyes. It moved pretty quickly there is no way it was our shadows... and it was moving past us in the opposite direction. We discussed what we saw later that evening. We are both sure what we saw wasnt our shadows . It was a wierd experience and interesting at the same time.

I have several experiences in the same area. My house.
The most significant was when I was taking a shower and I got this very eerie feeling something was about to happen [I was home alone by the way], so I stopped and stood very still facing the shower head. A few seconds later, the razor blade I had just finished using flew off the shelf below the shower head, and flew out of the shower, and landed by the wall. This was the first thing that had happened to me in my house.
But about a few weeks later, I was getting ready for the day, and I went to get my shirt, and I heard this whisper right in my ear. Causing goosbumps.
And my last experince so far was when, I was heading for my bed room, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something role off the bed in the opposite bedroom, me thinking it was my sister, went on with walking to my room, only to find that my sister was in my bedroom [we were the only two home at the time].
These experiences facinated me, scared me at the time, but afterword, I was thrilled. :]]
