Ornament speaks again.
Christmas morning and the wife and I are up early to prepare food for the family who were all coming at noon. All the lights were turned on and been for several minutes. I remember all of the Star Trek ornaments had gone thru their speeches. We traded Christmas cards, said Merry Christmas, then sealed it with a kiss. No nothing else, but I did hear footsteps one night last week upstairs. Floor creaks. All cats were asleep on the couch next to me and the dog was in her crate.

Maddie is only 5. I do not know whether her Mother has had any conversations with her on the subject, but doubt it. Maddie has a typical imagination and makes her dolls and animals talk. I have never noticed her talking "off camera".
