Active Ghosts on Nefarious Noblesville Tour

Hello all-We had an awesome tour tonight. It was a 2.5 hour ghost fest. Not only were the people great, but we had some haunting experiences. I think the reason for this is that we had an large group of teenagers and younger children with wonderful positive, vibrant energy. Overwhelmingly, the girls had the most experiences, although there was a young boy who had his own set of sightings as well. The first incident of the evening was a seemingly female ghost following us to our first stop.…See More

Ghost Boxes, Franks Box and the like....

Posted on October 3, 2010 at 7:37pm 1 Comment

I've been immersed in the paranormal the last couple of weeks in between kidney stones (OK- during them as well!) and I've been doing some research on ghost boxes, Franks boxes, etc.

Basically, there are two types that I've found. The first type uses a modified AM/FM radio. While the radio…

Ghost Hunting and Safety

Posted on August 31, 2010 at 9:46pm 0 Comments

There have been several events, most recently in NC, where ghost hunters have died. While it is unfortunate, it could have certainly been prevented as well. How do you feel about safety and the seemingly increasing amount of thrill seeking aspect of paranormal investigation?

Woman falls to her death ghost hunting (Toronto)…

My Ghost Story on Bio Channel

Posted on July 26, 2010 at 9:45pm 0 Comments

I was watching the one with the Pink/Gold Ladies from Greencastle Indiana. And I couldn't help but thinking, if that is true, how awesome is that? Truly, to see ghosts that clearly and capture them on film--- what more could you ask for. When you're ghost hunting and you feel something, you don't always get to see it, but when you go back and look through the evidence, and find that you have something? Sweeeeeet.

As I heard Guy Winters talk about going by the house and seeing that it… Continue

Finally-- The Ghost Man Photo

Thank you all for your patience.... it's been a long time in coming. This was taken with a Nikon D50 digital camera with a 55x lens. The photo here is only at 100 dpi (originally 300 dpi) and the only other manipulation has been the addition of the copyright watermark.

This photo was put in the Haunted Backroads:Central Indiana and didn't come out as well as we'd have liked. To remedy that, in our new Haunted Backroads book, we will features color photos.

Hello Nicole,
It is nice to meet you, haven't been able to access your comment to me yet.....I am not exactly computer savvy! :) I look forward to being a part of this group of beleivers. I have kept my beleifs in the closet most of my life....the ghosts, and the interest in old cemetery art interest. So it is kind of overwhelming to see so many of a "like mind" out there! I feel like a kid in a candy store! I am sure I will have fun on this site, reading other people's stories, and adding my own.

Hello Nicole,
Thanks for the computer help! :) That worked great! I look forward to sharing stories with others. And hearing about their experiences as well. The AGS is a wonderful organization, and anybody interested in gravestone studies should join them. They offer alot of information on lots of cemetery topics. A really good book to have is: "Stories in Stone" A Field Guide to Cemetery Symbolism and Iconography....by Douglas Keister. It can be bought on Amazon.com. Lots of photos and well written. Another must-have book for cemetery lovers is: "Guardians of the Soul" by John Bower. It focuses on the cemetery sculptures of Indiana. Lots of great photos. I also bought this book on Amazon.com Thanks for the welcome, and comment! Vicky

The little boy in my arms is my cousins grandson. Although I'd love to have him for my own. He's adorable. He just started walking. I start school on the 7th of July to finish my Bachelors Degree. I'm a little nervous. I live in PA. but I'm visiting IN. June 10-20th. I'm hoping my cousin and her husband will take me to some haunted places. Or I could rent a car while they are in work and go out exploring myself. haha I have been living in the house where my aunt and my grandmother both passed on and Actually on June 3rd will be a year my cousin and her daughter were killed by a truck driver who fell asleep at the wheel then 6 months later my grandmother died in my care. I was very close to all of them. I lived with my gram for the last 6 months of her life and this house def. has her in it. One night I don't know which spirit it was but I couldn't lift my arms or legs and my head wouldn't move just my eyes. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a white figure in the hall just standing there. I got this feeling of heavy sorrow and I started crying. After that I brought my dog to stay with me and I haven't seen it since. I haven't told anyone this I'm afraid they will think I'm a nut. Thank you for writing to me I hope we can become friends. I am going to school for Criminal justice. I am hoping to get a fingerprinting training class so I con go to Virginia for a job down there they are offering. I can start at $42,000 and work my way up to $80,000 a year. Or if they can find me something better I'll take it! I've been playing around with going for my Masters. But I'm not sure because I'm already 38 years old I'll be 41 before I get out. What do you think?

NicoleK: Thank you for the comment about my profile photo, it is from a family trip to Colorado. I must have taken 200 or 300 photos. About 85% of them were mountains.
