My thesis is on Samuel Parris and his role in the Salem Witch Trials.

The Salem Village is now called Danvers. The meeting house and one or two houses are all that's left. Oh...and only one of the women that was hanged is buried in the cemetery....she only managed to be buried there because her family stole her body and buried her in the family plot. I agree...it's all fascinating around that time period. (Civil War, too)

The pics were taken on a cell phone camera with the "night" setting. I left my digi at home on accident :( But I had a blast. I plan on going to the Perkinsville cemetery and taking some pics this weekend.

haha, my mother almost killed me when she found out I drove out of the county to an old cemetery in the country...by myself. I honestly never stopped to think I shouldn't do that because I have just felt so at ease there, haha. I am definitely going to try to come on a tour! That sounds so interesting and fun! I've just got to check some dates and see what's available for me! But, like I said before...none of my friends are into this...do very many people come solo to these things or are you supposed to bring someone you know?

Thanks!

It's a mistake on the web. I'm from Greenwood, IN, USA. Sorry to disappoint you.

Thank you! The picture is from a theatre show called From Dark Pages. It's a show that runs every weeekend in October at the Morris-Butler House. I thought it may be fun for this site! I hope it isn't offensive to anyone. :)

I would love to meet sometime & / or email on a regular basis, I've been looking for a cetral Indiana group to join, and I am hoping this will be a good fit for both of us. Let me know what to do to start chatting or possibly meeting up with you guys. I am on the South side of Indy & somedays I have more access to the computer than others. Until next time,
James

My cousins won't mind....I'm sure.....they were excited when I showed them the results.

I never really thought you were.....but I think that the first time you e-mailed me (last year I think....about the pic at the Riley home) you told me that you were the skeptic....and then explained that you took the scientific approach.

Westfield Ghost Walk "Strikes Again"

Posted on August 6, 2011 at 4:05pm 2 Comments

I was settling in for a nice private Ghost Walk last Thursday. I wasn't sure whom to expect but when I saw a nice family, (grandparents, parents and two kids and a visiting relative) I was very relaxed and looking forward to the nice walk.

Things got off to a great start and the grandfather especially was very nice (even though he was skeptic) and we talked quite a bit while walking to our stops. On the way to our 2nd stop he mentioned he used to do business in town and he…
