I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write back. I've been out of town, and I'm not very good at navigating this site, either. :-) Yes, I love Standardbreds. I used to work at a huge Standardbred breeding farm in PA, mosting working as foal attendant, delivering them on the night shift. It was my all-time favorite job. In fact, I used some of those experiences in my thrid mystery.

What I love about Standardbreds is their kind temperment. My record was delivering 63 foals in three months, and only one mare gave me any trouble. They were wonderful to work with.
