Historic Indiana Ghost Walks Tours
real ghost stories based on real research from true believers™
Hello all-
We had an awesome tour tonight. It was a 2.5 hour ghost fest. Not only were the people great, but we had some haunting experiences. I think the reason for this is that we had an large group of teenagers and younger children with wonderful positive, vibrant energy. Overwhelmingly, the girls had the most experiences, although there was a young boy who had his own set of sightings as well.
The first incident of the evening was a seemingly female ghost following us to our first stop. Three teenage girls saw her following our group. The second incident happened at the Model Mill, where one of the same girls had her hair stroked by an unseen hand.
In the cemetery, one woman had her hair pulled very hard by something she didn't see.Three teenage girls saw a Civil War soldier walking in the cemetery. A younger girl saw the mysterious woman in white float through the cemetery. When I stopped to take this girl and her brother to another section of the cemetery, the boy saw a woman in white and a Civil War soldier with a gun who said, 'I hope you're good." (like being a good boy). All three of us (the girl, her brother and I) saw a 9 foot tall spirit who did not want us to go to the back of the cemetery. I'm not going to lie. Whether it was because I was concered about the kids or if it was just the sheer negative vibe the entity was giving off, I helped round up the group and move quickly on. Oh, and one girl's Nikon camera would not work near where the Civil War soldier was buried and is often seen.
Later as the tour wound down, the three teenage girls and I let the spirits know they were not welcome to go to anyone's home- especially their home. Fans of all things ghost, these girls said they would never look at the paranormal the same ever again. And as for me, I have a set of burning bumps on my back. Awesome. ;)
