I enjoy having access to possible hauntings as much as anyone, yet, at the same time, I have a business head on my shoulders, and I understand concerns like liability issues. I also understand that if they threw the doors open to everyone who wants in, managing that could be a full time occupation for one. Unfortunately, they must have a policy that treats everyone the same, and that's their decision. I don't know the full details or the condition of the building, but, honestly, I might come to the same decision if it was left to me.

I don't know more details, Owen Co website isn't very informative. Neither is their newspaper website.

There are liability waiver one can sign of course - but yeah it can be a very busy occupation.

I really like how they do it in Scott county :-) the historical society there partnered with volunteers that are also ghost investigators... We need to post our pics from our walkthrough there...
